A reminder that Monday the 4th of November is a Student Free day.

2025 Class Structures

In 2025, we will again be able to run 7 straight year levels. Next year's class structures have been developed through consultation with staff and our School Council.

Foundation x 3 (20/20/21)

Grade 1 x 2 (18/18)

Grade 2 x 3 (21/21/22)

Department of Education Expected Class Average F-2 - 21

CEPS Average F-2 - 20.13

Grade 3 x 2 (25/25)

Grade 4 x 3 (20/20/21)

Grade 5 x 3 (22/22/22)

Grade 6 x 2 (28/28)

Department of Education Expected Class Average 3-6 - 26

CEPS Average 3-6 - 23.70

Department of Education Expected Class Average Whole School - 26

CEPS Average - 22.11

The Department of Education has advised that with our projected 2025 enrolments, we should be running 17 classes, however, we are running 18, as collectively we have determined that 17 is not in the best interest of our students and school community. I am acutely aware that 2025 class sizes in Year 6 may be concerning for some Year 5 parents/carers, however, I am already working closely with the Year 6 team to identify the support required for every child to have a successful final year of school. The only alternative to reduce our Year 6 class sizes would be to run 5 x 5/6 classes of 24 students per class and we have decided this is not in the best interest of our 2025 Year 5 and 6 students. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.

Team Kids Survey

School Council is in the process of considering a contract renewal with Team Kids due to our current contract expiring at the end of the year. As a school, we have been exceptionally happy with the Team Kids program, however when making such significant decisions, we felt it important to offer our community the opportunity to provide their feedback.

Here is the link to the survey. If you use the service, we'd appreciate 2-3 minutes of your time to complete it. The survey will close on Monday 11 November.

School Staff Survey 2024

I am excited to share some positive developments from our 2024 School Staff Survey. I commend our dedicated staff for their ongoing hard work and commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Their efforts are truly appreciated.

Our focus on academic priorities has strengthened, with positive feedback reflecting this improvement. Staff confidence in working together to enhance student outcomes has also seen a significant boost. Additionally, our collective focus on student learning has grown, and we have seen a substantial increase in parent and community involvement. This suggests that our initiatives to engage with the community and parents have been well-received over the last 12 months. Trust among staff has dramatically improved, reflecting a more cohesive and supportive environment.

Leadership visibility and support for school culture have also received positive feedback, highlighting our ongoing efforts to be present and engaged with our school community.

Thank you for your continued support as we strive to create the best possible learning environment for our students.
