From the Principal's desk

Last week the Year 5 and 6 students went to Canberra for four days. We all had a fantastic time and it was so nice to receive positive feedback from our guides about our students' behaviour and engagement. I would like to thank Rohan, Beth, Jacqi and Hope for giving up their time to help create these lifelong memories for our students.

2025 Prep Enrolments

Enrolments for 2025 need to be finalised to allow us to start planning for 2025. If you are a

current family with a child at Numurkah PS who will commence Prep in 2025 please pick up an enrolment pack from the office and return as soon as possible.

If you know of anyone looking to enrol at Numurkah PS for 2025 or still undecided, please encourage them to give the office a call or come in for a chat and a tour of the school.

SunSmart

In-line with our SunSmart policy, all students must wear a broadbrim or bucket hat when outside during Terms 1 and 4. There are still a number of students who are not wearing hats. If your child cannot find their school hat, these are available from SPORTF1RST to purchase. Students who do not have a hat will need to stay under the shade at recess and lunch times.

Year 3/4 Camp - Swan Hill

Thank you to all Year 3 and 4 Families who have submitted payment for the camp. The final payment for the camp was due last Friday. The students are very excited to be heading off on Wednesday, November the 6th.

Before and After School Supervision

Student safety at Numurkah Primary School is our highest priority and the safe and appropriate supervision of students is an important element of our duty of care to students. Part of this duty is ensuring parents and students are aware of our student supervision arrangements before and after school.

Before school: School grounds are supervised at 8:45am. Students should remain out the front of the school and to the east of the main building. Breakfast program is open for students from 8:45am from the multi-purpose room servery.

After school: School grounds are supervised until 3:30pm.

Students on school grounds outside these times will not be supervised (unless they are attending a before or after school care program or supervised extracurricular activity).

Parents/carers are requested to ensure that students do not attend school outside of these supervised times unless they are attending before or after school care, or a pre-arranged supervised activity (i.e. sports practice).

Families are encouraged to contact the school office on 58621426 for more information about the before and after school care facilities available to our school community or if you would like any further information about our student supervision arrangements.

For a copy of our school’s Yard Duty and Supervision Policy contact the school office. This policy includes Numurkah Primary School’s student supervision arrangements across the school day, including before and after school.
