Principal`s Message

Welcome back to Term 4! I hope you all had a wonderful break and are feeling refreshed ready for an exciting term ahead. It has been a fantastic start to Term 4, filled with energy and enthusiasm.

I recently had the pleasure of accompanying our Year 3 to 6 students on a memorable camp to the Log Cabin Camp in Creswick. It was an incredible experience where students faced various challenges head on and demonstrated remarkable growth. The camp provided an excellent opportunity for our students to develop resilience, teamwork, and a sense of adventure.

As we continue through Term 4, it`s essential to maintain our school`s standards. Please ensure that all students wear the correct uniform every day. Wearing the school uniform instills a sense of pride and belonging and ensures that our students present themselves in a manner that reflect our school values. We kindly ask parents to support this expectation and help ensure their children are dressed appropriately each day.

With the warmer weather upon us, remember that Term 4 is a SunSmart term. This means students must wear a hat during recess, lunch and outdoor activities during PE.

We ask parents/carers to label their child`s uniform ( including hats ) clearly with their name.

We are thrilled to welcome new and returning staff members to our school community. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Hannah Thornell, who will be teaching in 5/6B. We also welcome back Camelia, who will be teaching in 3/4J until the rest of the year. We are excited to have them on board and look forward to the positive contribution they will make.

In our ongoing effort to enhance security, we have installed CCTV cameras throughout the school. These measures are in place to ensure the safety and security of our buildings and everyone within our school community.

We are also excited about the upcoming school fete on the 9th of November, which promises to be a fantastic event for everyone. The online auction is now live and bids are coming in already. I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for their efforts so far. Your support and participation are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to a successful event.

Additionally, we ask for your cooperation regarding enrolments and intentions for 2025.

If your child will be moving on or if you know of families who have yet to enrol, please inform the office as soon as possible. This assists us greatly in planning staffing and class structure for the coming year. Also, if you plan on taking extended holidays during the next school year, please let us know as this information is vital for our planning purposes.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement with our school community.
