News from the Parent Partnership Panel

The Parent Partnership Panel met for the first time this year on Tuesday 25/2.  We were pleased to welcome three new members from grades 7 and 8 to our team.  This will see all year levels represented on the Panel.

Events & Engagements

It was exciting to discuss the upcoming opportunities we have for socialising with our Parent Community.  We discussed and actioned a request from the parent community members for year level parent social gatherings.  We will be kicking these off in March so watch out for news of those. Also coming up hosted by the PPP are the MTA Mums at the Movies for Mother’s Day on Friday 9 May, and Christmas in July on Saturday 26 July.  We will also be out in force at the IWD High Tea on Sunday 9 March and at the Open Day on Sunday May 25 so please say hello and let us know of any questions or any ideas that you may have for our wonderful school and community.

The Parent Partnership Panel meets once a term and will meet next on Thursday May 8.  If you would like to get in contact with us at any time, please just email the school at mta@mta.qld.edu.au, and state “Attention PPP” in the subject line.
