CSPS Parents' Association News 

Welcome to 2025! After an amazing year in 2024, this year the Parents Association is looking to continue to provide opportunities for parents and children to support the school and have some fun. 

You may have seen on the boards at the school gates that our PA AGM will be held this coming Monday, 17 February, at 7:30pm in the school hall. We look forward to seeing you there to discuss the schedule of events for 2025.

You don't need to have previously participated in the PA to come to the AGM. Everyone is welcome to attend and find out how you can be involved, at whatever level you like. 

The meeting will secure our official office bearers, highlight our draft Calendar of Events and secure our Event Leads. We will also confirm a solid group of general PA members from across all years of the school. We want to make sure that our events are as inclusive as possible, so having representatives from each grade is essential. 

Parents who are general PA members will:

1. Attend the monthly PA meetings (likely to be a combination of in-person and online throughout the year).

2. Assist in the lead to and at a range of events throughout the year.

3. Assist in gaining community support for our events. 

Please note that there is no requirement to be an Event Lead as a general PA member. 

If you're unable to join us on Monday night and would like to become a member, please send a directive with another parent to sign you up on the night or email your intention to stephanie.sim@education.vic.gov.au.

The first family event of the year will be our Welcome Twilight Picnic on Thursday 13th March. Bring a picnic blanket and join us for a relaxing evening.
