Real Food Lunchboxes: Workshop

We are excited to offer an informative 30min workshop for parents/carers all about getting fresh, healthy food into lunchboxes. Peta Comfort is a nutritionist and parent at SGPS and has offered to run this free workshop for parents and carers on Monday 3rd March from 9am-9:30am in the Staff Room. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Check out the flyer below for more information.

Chronicle Entries in Compass

An important feature of Compass that we wanted to highlight with families this week are Chronicle entries, which created by our staff. 'Chronicles' provide information for families relating to a variety of things at school.

These include:

- when a teacher has created a Student Achievement notification, celebrating the awesome work of your child/ren.

- when your child has been attended to in Sickbay

- if your child has had medication administered, as per the consent provided to the school

- Attendance flags, i.e. late arrivals, early departures or absences

- if your child is receiving an Award on assembly

Accessing this information on the Compass app is quick and easy. We have created a step-by-step guide to show you how.

Subway Orders - Cookies Added

Following a discussion at our School Council meeting on Monday, cookies will now be available on the Subway menu, with the exception of the macadamia and white chocolate variety. Cookies available on the menu do not contain nuts, however Subway does have a disclaimer that states that they can not guarantee cross contamination.

School Photos

School Photo Day will be held on Wednesday 19th March. Please refer to the flyer with the QR code below for ordering. Please note that the school has no involvement in the ordering process.
