Back in November 2024 each family received and email. The email contained:
- your unique School Saving Bonus code to use the $400 support
- a link to the School Saving Bonus parent and carer online system.
Parents and carers receive one email and code for each eligible student in their family.
If you cannot locate the email, check your spam or junk folder.
Please note, the Department of Education and the Victorian Government will never ask you to provide your banking or financial details for the School Saving Bonus.
If you would like to use it for activities at school, you have to allocate it to the school in your parent portal before we can allocate it at school against an activity.
Attached is the School Saving Bonus guide on how to allocate.
CSEF - Camps, Sports & Excursion Fund
School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are a part of a healthy curriculum.
CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent or Veteran affairs pensioner (Gold Card), you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.
The annual CSEF amount per student is:
- $154 for primary school students
- $256 for secondary school students
HOW TO APPLY
Fill out the attached CSEF application below and return it to the office (with a copy of your card).
If you applied for CSEF at your child's school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year unless there has been a change in your family circumstances.
You only need to complete an application form if any of the following changes have occurred:
new student enrolments: your child has started or changed schools this year.
changed family circumstances: such as a change of custody, change of name, concession card number, or new siblings commencing this year.
Check with the school office if you are unsure

Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) Reminder
Parents and carers are reminded that all adults require a current WWCC in order to volunteer in classrooms, canteen, attend camps and excursions.
WWCC are valid for 5 years and are free for volunteers to apply for. You can apply, renew and check your existing status by visiting https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/ .
We regularly encourage volunteers in classrooms and on excursions (when we can). Even if it is not something you have previously considered, it can be useful to have and we encourage you to apply.
Once your card arrives, bring it to the school office where the staff will take a copy and add you to our WWCC register.
