Interschool Equestrian Challenge

Over 130 riders from 40 local schools and kindergartens across Gippsland made the most of the lovely school weather on Wednesday at the 'Interschool Equestrian Challenge" which was held at the Maffra Showgrounds.

Riders selected six events that could range from showing, showjumping, novelties and obstacles, showcasing their skills and partnership with their horses throughout the day. Representing Maffra Secondary College was Chelsea Hanna, Skye Orchard and Kasey Duncan who all came home with a selection of ribbons, but at the end of the day Chelsea cleaned up her section and came home as the overall champion in her year level.
