Foundation | Digital TechnologiesStudents have been exploring what digital technology is, what it looks like, and how we use it in everyday life. They’ve also started learning how to log into a laptop and are beginning to understand the importance of keeping passwords private and staying safe online. | FA: Room 9FB: Room 10FC: Room 11 | We’re inviting you to join your child for a fun hands-on activity where you’ll help them make a model laptop and learn about its parts—like the screen, keyboard, and trackpad.

They will be sharing their published persuasive texts through a PowerPoint presentation they have created, proudly showcasing both their writing and technology skills! |

Students have designed their own community including things such as parks, schools and rubbish tips. This activity has engaged students to use digital technology as well as their planning and mapping skills!

| Dear Grade 4 Families, We welcome all families to view our persuasive travel brochures that showcase our chosen countries' landmarks, culture and range of activities to do while visiting. Also, join in on a country / continent quiz to test your geography knowledge!

| Year 6 | 6A, 6B, 6C: Room 3 | Dear Grade 6 Families, We welcome you to join us as our students showcase the Scratch coding projects they have been working on. Come explore their creativity, problem-solving skills, and the unique interactive programs they’ve designed. We hope to see you there! |
Zooper Dooper Sales
JSC will be selling Zooper Doopers on Tuesdays (depending on the weather) for $1 each. Students will be notified the day before and a Compass message will be sent out to families.
Money raised by the sales go back into purchasing items for the students to use at school, like new board games, new soccer goals.
School Hats
As of Monday the 1st of September, students must wear a school hat while outdoors during recess, lunch and PE sessions. Students who do not have a hat, will need to sit in the No Hat NO Play shady area. School hats are available from the uniform shop. Please ensure your child's name is clearly written on their.
Students must wear a school broadbrimmed or legionnaires hat.
Plain navy blue broadbrimmed or legionnaire hats are also allowed.
No other caps, visors, hats will be allowed.
Book Club
Book Club comes out twice a term. Please remember to clearly write your child's name and grade on their order form, place the form and money into an envelope and return to school by the due date.
