Student of the Week

P.E. - Avah FA “Be a learner” Avah consistently demonstrates high levels of resilience while showing a deep respect for others during P.E lessons. Great work Avah!

Visual Arts -  Benjamin 4B ‘Be a Learner’ Benjamin was engaged, focused and enthusiastic while creating his 3D abstract cardboard sculpture. He exemplified the attributes of a fantastic learner in art. Congratulations Benjamin!

 

6B - Matthew ‘Be a Learner’ You’ve made an excellent start in our poetry writing unit and shown wonderful creative expression. Your talent and effort are shining brightly. Keep working hard!

6C - 6C The class has made a seamless transition into their Year 7 trial, demonstrating maturity and readiness for the next stage of their learning. Throughout this period, they have shown respect for one another, taken pride in their work, and remained organised in managing new routines and expectations. Their collective effort and positive attitude have set a strong foundation for success in Year 7, and it has been wonderful to see them support each other as a team. Congratulations to the whole class on being recognised as Student of the Week.

 

5A - Aleks (Be Respectful)  for being a wonderful role model in our classroom. She works hard, stays focused, listens carefully to teachers and classmates, and shows genuine care for the people around her. Thank you, Aleks, for bringing kindness, effort, and positivity to everything you do! 

5B - Taylor (Be a Learner) for trying his best during independent tasks, especially during Mathematics, asking for feedback to check his understanding and then acting on this to improve his learning. He demonstrates pride in his achievements and has learnt so much about percentages. Well done! 

5C - Abbie (Be a Learner) You did an amazing job following the patterned writing structure. Your focus, creativity, and effort really shone through in your work. Well done for staying on track and producing clear, organised writing!

 

4A - Hargun (Be a Learner) Awarded to Hargun in recognition of her outstanding commitment to completing homework tasks diligently throughout the academic year. Her Reading Journal proudly logs over 300 days of reading at home, and her Maths Mate worksheet is always completed with care and accuracy. Congratulations Hargun on your wonderful achievements!

4B -Joseph (Be Safe) always participates fairly in games by playing safely and following the rules. He is inclusive of others and understands that winning is not the most important thing. And having fun is the main goal. Well Done.

4C - Will (Be Respectful) Will, you have been voted by your peers because you always show respect to your teachers and peers by listening and being kind and helpful. We appreciate what you do in 4C!

 

3B - Annie (Be Respectful) for showing patience, kindness and compassion every day in the classroom. You are a role model for your peers through the way you show consideration for those around you. You are a wonderful and valued member of 3B!

3C - Valerie (Be a Learner) This award is for the enthusiasm and pride she showed during maths. Val came up with a data question that interested her, asked her peers in a respectful way and then analysed her collected data using digital technology. Awesome work!

 

2A- Isla (Be a Learner) for consistently working hard during writing tasks, striving to complete them to the best of her ability. She applies herself diligently and always puts in her best effort. Well done, Isla!

 

FA - Estella for being an active participant in class, showing motivation and enthusiasm in practising and improving her Literacy skills. Your dedication and positive attitude towards learning are an inspiration to others. Well done!

FC - Chloe (Be a Learner) This award is presented to Chloe for the enthusiastic way she shares her thoughts and ideas about books that we read in the classroom. She is also to be commended on how well she did with her reading assessment this week. Well done, Chloe!
