Celebrations of Learning
We are excited to invite all families to our Celebrations of Learning on Friday, 5th December, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm in classrooms.
This special event will showcase the incredible learning that has taken place this term, with a focus on our Inquiry topics. Students have worked hard to explore, create, and reflect, and they are eager to share their discoveries and achievements with you. Further details can be read in the Upcoming Events section of this weeks Newsletter.
We would love to see as many families as possible join us for this celebration. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s learning journey and celebrate their efforts and growth.
Foundation Afternoon Tea
We are so proud of how well our Foundation students performed at yesterday’s Foundation Afternoon Tea! Each class shared two chants and songs with their families, and the whole cohort came together for a fantastic group performance of The Wiggles’ Taba Naba. Well done, Foundation students!
Just a reminder to families: while many wonderful photos and videos were taken, please do not share these on social media. This is to protect the privacy and safety of all students and families. Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe and respectful.

How to support your child under 16 with the new social media age restrictions
From 10 December 2025, the Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Act 2024 will require social media platforms to:
· prevent children and young people under 16 from having a social media account
· deactivate or freeze existing accounts held by people under 16.
Delaying access to social media protects the health and wellbeing of young people and gives them extra time to build real world connections and digital literacy skills.
The responsibility will be on the social media platforms, not parents, carers, children or schools, to implement these new restrictions.
Most popular social media platforms will be age restricted. These include Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Reddit and YouTube.
Messaging services and online games, as well as apps and platforms that support health and education, can still be used.
How to help under 16s prepare for the change
Parents and carers play an important role in supporting their children to be safe online.
To help get under 16s ready for the social media minimum age requirements, you can go to the eSafety website to learn more about the social media age restrictions and find tips on how to talk about social media age restrictions with young people.
What the change means for our school
At our school, all age-restricted social media platforms are blocked for student use on the school network.
To keep up to date about the new social media age restrictions, visit the eSafety website and subscribe to their newsletter.

Hello Everyone,
Pride and Integrity Raffle
This raffle recognizes all the students who are attending school on time. This is to acknowledge the students demonstrating Pride and Integrity by being ready to learn each day.
Every student who is at school, and in their classroom, before the bell (9am) will have their name added to the class attendance box. So, if they are present on time, every day of the week, they will have 5 entries into the raffle.
Stay tuned next week , for the winners of the raffle for weeks 7 and 8
2025 Term 4 Challenge of the Week
This term’s challenge is a series of Brain Teasers. Some of them will be like riddles, some will be around maths or language.
Week 8: Brain Teasers
You need to try to answer the brain teasers as best you can.
You must collaborate with at least one other person (a friend, parent, classmate, etc) and no more than 3 other people. If you do not collaborate, you will not receive a PAC for collaboration.
