Disability Inclusion at Concord School

It has been a successful year of moving students and their parents/carers through the Disability Inclusion Profile process. Stacey (Disability inclusion learning Specialist) and I have prepared close to 100 profiles this year, and many of these students and parents/carers have already attended their meeting.  We are very grateful to the parents/carers who have been involved in these meetings. We also thank and celebrate the students who have attended these meetings- their presence is the highlight of every Disability Inclusion Meeting.

Disability Inclusion Profile meetings will continue this term until the final week of school. The facilitators (people who run our meetings) often comment about the high quality of support students receive at Concord school, particularly our Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology programs.

Easy English resources about both the Disability Inclusion Profile (PDF) and the profile meeting itself (PDF) are available.

If you have any questions about Disability Inclusion, please feel free to phone the school at the Bundoora campus, and ask to speak to Rachael Macmillan, (Disability Inclusion Leader) or email me at Rachael.Macmillan@education.vic.gov.au. Stacey Bilchouris is our Disability Inclusion Learning Specialist, and can be contacted by phone at the Bundoora Campus on Thursdays and Fridays, or via email at Stacey.Bilchouris@education.vic.gov.au

If your child requires a Disability Inclusion Profile meeting, you will be contacted by Stacey or myself.
