Clontarf Incentive Trip

Jamberoo Incentive Trip a Great Success

The Narrandera Clontarf Academy wrapped up the school year with an unforgettable three-day incentive trip to Shellharbour, rewarding a group of committed young men who consistently demonstrated strong attendance, effort and engagement throughout 2025. The camp provided a perfect mix of fun, adventure and cultural connection, while reinforcing the core Clontarf values of respect, resilience and mateship.

The boys hit the ground running on Day One with a relaxed afternoon at the movies, sharing laughs and enjoying time together outside the school setting. From there, the group took on virtual golf, with plenty of friendly competition and a few surprise talents emerging as the boys battled it out on the simulator. The activity gave everyone the chance to unwind, test their skills and build camaraderie.

Warm coastal weather set the tone for the next stage of the trip, with the group heading to the beach for a swim. The waves at Shellharbour did not disappoint as the boys made the most of the boogie boards, spending hours in the surf and taking full advantage of the opportunity to disconnect, have fun and simply enjoy being young men together.

That evening, the Academy members enjoyed dinner at the Warilla Bowling Club, where they were joined by Narrandera Clontarf Alumni, Campbell Lyons. Campbell is currently on a train-and-trial with the St George Illawarra Dragons, and his presence was a major highlight for the boys. He spoke proudly about his journey since leaving school and the role Clontarf played in shaping his discipline, confidence and work ethic. His message resonated strongly with the current students, demonstrating firsthand how far dedication and positive choices can take them.

The Shellharbour incentive trip not only rewarded the boys for a strong year but also strengthened their connections with staff, each other and the extended Clontarf network. As the Academy looks ahead to 2026, the Narrandera crew returns home motivated, grateful and proud of what they have achieved.

Another successful Clontarf year wrapped up the right way — with good company, great memories and a strong sense of brotherhood.
