Need to Know

Student Medications

 

As we approach the end of the school year, we are asking families to please drop by the office to collect any medications we have for your child by Friday 19th December. 

 

Please note any medications returning next year will require a current medication authority form to be signed by a doctor. If your child's medication or management plan/action plan is due to expire, please arrange updated documents with your doctor over the holiday break ready for the start of 2026.

 

All medications being administered at school for 2026 need to have the below requirements:

  • All medications (whether over the counter or script medications) will need a Medication Authority Form signed by your doctor.
  • Be in it's original container and clearly labelled including name of student, dose requirements and time of dose.
  • Within it's expiry date.
  • Information about storage in it's correct climate.
  • For Allergy, Anaphylaxis and Asthmatic students to have an up to date Action Plan.
  • Once the school has an up to date Action Plan will provide a Individualised Management Plan for you to sign.
