Grade 1 & 2
Term 4

As we come to the end of 2025 with your children we would like to thank you for all of your support. Grade 1 and 2 have had a fabulous year full of learning, new experiences, adventures, friendships and fun.
Below are just a few of the highlights. Have a lovely holiday season and we look forward to seeing everyone in the new year!

Grade 1Z students designed their own treehouse pieces, carefully measured them using rulers, and assembled them into a 3D treehouse sculpture. This engaging activity offered a creative way to practise and reinforce formal measuring skills.

Grade 2 students completed their design projects over the last week or so and had a fabulous time designing their seed protection containers. They thoroughly enjoyed making their designs and explaining how they work. We also got to watch the seed sprouting process by daily monitoring of some pea seeds and sunflower seeds that we kept in the classroom. It was fun seeing how they changed over time and recording our observations in our Inquiry books. These have all gone home now and hopefully they are still doing well.

Our Grade 2 students have recently completed their transition to Grade 3 TRP lesson. We looked back at all we have learnt throughout the year and talked about how we are feeling about going into Grade 3. Our Grade 1 students have also completed their TRP program for the year 2025 and they are looking forward to their new Grade 2 lessons. Books have now gone home so that you can see all the wonderful things we have learnt in TRP this year.
