Library News

There are still over 100 books borrowed out to students that are now overdue! 

 

Another reminder that library borrowing has finished for the year and we have started our end of year stocktake. Please ensure all library books are returned to the Library as soon as possible. Books can be put onto the Returns Trolley inside the library anytime during school hours (please do not leave books outside the library door). Mrs Offer will send out emails next week for books that still need to be returned. Library bags have been sent home with students – please give them a clean and pack them away for the 2026 school year. 

Food For Families - drop off closes this Friday

Help fill a pantry – support our Food For Families Drive!

Croydon Hills Primary is taking part in Uniting’s Food For Families, helping to provide food and essential items to individuals and families doing it tough. This is a great way for students to learn about kindness, social responsibility, and community support.

How you can help

  • Donate non-perishable food and essential items – canned goods, pasta, rice, toiletries, and more. 
  • Drop off your donations at the Office Foyer by December 5.

  • View the shopping list for suggested essential items. 

     

Why it matters

Your contributions will help stock Uniting’s emergency relief pantries, ensuring that individuals and families receive the support they need to put a meal on the table when it’s needed most. 

We can make a real impact! 

  • Collection Dates: 03/11/2025 to 05/12/2025

Lost Property

As it's nearly the end of term and year can I please ask all parents to check the lost property cupboard for any missing items owned by your child. All items labelled have been returned to the appropriate classroom.

 

On Monday 8th December from 9.30am till Wednesday 17th 3.00pm we will be placing all items not claimed for sale outside the front office for families to donate a gold coin donation per item to the office.
