Performing Arts

This Tuesday we held our End of Year Singing Soirée, and what a fantastic evening it was! Our singers were wonderful… so much courage, effort and talent on display. I’m incredibly proud of every student who stepped up to perform; their confidence and commitment really shone through and it was such a joy to watch! 

A special thank you to Michael, Abbey and Sandy for their help on the night. And also to Alexis, Joy and Pepper for compering the evening. 

Next week is a big week in Performing Arts! On Monday 1st December, our Senior Choir students will be joining the school bands at the Music Concert at Montmorency Secondary College, which is always an exciting night for everyone involved. Just a reminder that Senior Choir students are to arrive at 6pm for a rehearsal and sound check. Doors will open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start. 

And of course, on Thursday night we have our big End of Year Christmas Celebration concert on the Triangle at RGLPS. All students will be performing with their class or year level, as well as the Superband, Junior Choir and Senior Choir. It’s set to be a wonderful community event, full of music and festive fun. We can’t wait to see you there!
