Please refer to the 'Office News' page for information regarding a change in the order process for families in 2026.
All students, including Preps will start Term 1 on Thursday 29th January. Please note that Tuesday 27th is a - State Curriculum Day (no students) & Wednesday 28th is a Rollins Curriculum Day (no students)
If your family is moving out of our area or your child will be attending another school in 2026, could you please contact the office and let us know as soon as possible? We have a waiting list of families wanted to enrol in our school.
This year Kardinia Church is holding a FREE Community Family Christmas Carnival. It will take place on Sunday December 7th, from 10am to 4pm. There will be carnival rides, food trucks, lots of children’s activities including – petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, mini golf, live entertainment and a Christmas Show featuring sing-along carols and a narrated play.
Kardinia have invited all our families and friends to attend this event and have a fun filled day.

As the year draws to a close, I would like to sincerely thank all members of our Rollins School Council.
Our members voluntarily give up their personal and family time to assist in the smooth running of the school.
Thank you so much to each member for your contribution over the past year. It has been an absolute pleasure to work along side you all.
We work hard at Rollins to create a positive culture where students see themselves as part of a community at Rollins. School uniform helps develop this culture. Lately it seems that there are a few students who are not wearing the appropriate school uniform. Bike shorts and netball skirts are not part of our daily school uniform. Bike shorts can be worn on Athletic days or days of high physical activity like the Walkathon etc. Please no multi-coloured or “loud” socks. These are to be kept for weekend wear. Thanks for your support in this matter.
The fence seems like a never-ending saga! The contractor who accepted the job withdrew and it had to be put out to tender again. At this stage the new fence will mostly be constructed over the Christmas holidays- fingers crossed.
We will keep parents updated as much as possible.
We have meet with the new boundary fence architects and are awaiting the draft plan. When this is approved the VSBA (Victorian School Building Authority) will tender for the project. The surveyor has been here this week, so things are beginning to move! Hopefully things will move quickly after the initial planning and tender process is complete.
Just a reminder to parents that lots of things are happening towards the end of the school year- a very busy time for all families as well. Keep a check on COMPASS re all the incursions and excursions that are happening at Rollins.
Please see the below list of teachers by class for 2026 -
