Principal's Message
Education Night
Thanks to everyone who was able to attend Tuesday night’s Education Night.
It is great to take some time to celebrate all of our achievements and to look ahead to exciting times for MPPS!
A special thank you to Sue and the members of the School Council who planned and delivered the evening. Those who were able to attend will have seen the work that our School Council does, often ‘behind the scenes’. We are very grateful for all they do.
Thanks to Jess and Sadie from the Student Voice Council for providing an update on the work they have been doing.
From Our Student Voice Council
This year in student voice council we have been planning a couple big events for the school. We have been talking about the talent show, crazy hair day and world music day. We have lots of big exciting events coming up. Dates will be announced shortly. Also in student voice council we have been discussing different suggestions from students across the school such as, hot chocolate in winter, science day and pajamas day.
Safety Message/ Drop Off and Pick Up
Our regular reminder to be aware that we regularly have a couple of safety challenges that we ask people to be constantly mindful of.
We are lucky at MPPS to have terrific access on all four sides of the school. Please be aware on the ‘no parking’ areas particularly around the crossing flags. We ask that drivers and pedestrians please be extra cautious particularly at drop off and pick up times. When you use those areas it blocks the view of the flags and could cause a very dangerous situation for our students. We have also recently seen the council in unmarked cars monitoring this.
Thanking you all in advance.
