Year 10 Science: 

Year 10's have started learning about Newton's laws. They investigated Newton's first law by conducting the "egg drop" practical activity. The Year 10 science exam will take place on Friday next week. Students have been given a list of items that can be assessed, along with a revision booklet.

Weekly Wrap: Year 11

PE:

In Year 11 PE Maggie has been completing practical activities including, ultimate Frisbee, a stretching session and a long interval running session to investigate anatomical movements and cardiorespiratory responses in the sessions. 

 

Accounting:

Michael is practicing creating various accounting records. This past week, Michael has been creating income statements for service firms and exploring the nature of cash and credit transactions. Our focus has been on recording and transferring data accurately between various documents.

Tech and Trades Experience Day 2025

YEAR 12 ‘s - APPLYING FOR COURSES

VTAC is the organisation that handles all University applications for Victoria – as a Year 12 Student you do not apply directly to any of the Universities. From 28th July 2025 Year 12 students are able to create their individual VTAC accounts. VTAC also handles some TAFE and Private Provider applications (Most TAFE applications are made via the individual institute’s website). The School will support students to create their VTAC accounts and apply for Scholarships, Special entry etc.

All Year 12 Students applying for courses through VTAC will need a USI (Unique Student Identifier) to set up their Account.

Outward Bound Junior Holiday Program

Location: Tharwa, ACT

September 29 to October 3, 2025

Outward Bound Junior is more than just a school holiday program for teenagers. By providing a fun and challenging environment, we encourage young adolescents to explore their potential through adventure, all the while supported by our expert instructors. The 5-day program for youth in Years 7 to 9 (ages 12-15) offers activities such as a high-ropes course, orienteering, and hiking.
