F1 Fun at Wyndham Tech!
Our Year 9/10 Semester 1 STEAM students put their creativity and engineering skills to the test in an exhilarating F1-inspired project! Using CAD software, students designed, 3D-printed, and customised their very own Formula 1 cars from the ground up.
The excitement shifted into high gear as they raced their creations, each powered by CO₂ canisters — and every car made it across the finish line! It was a thrilling celebration of innovation, teamwork, and hands-on learning.
A huge congratulations to our students on a fast-paced and fantastic achievement!

Year 7A Brings Math to Life Through Interactive Models
Our Year 7A students recently showcased their creativity and deep understanding of key mathematical concepts through an engaging Working Model Project. Using hands-on, interactive models, students brought abstract ideas to life in fun and innovative ways.
Projects included:
Prime Factorization Tree – A visual tree diagram demonstrating how composite numbers can be broken down into their prime factors.
Multiples and Patterns Wheel – An interactive spinning wheel that explores number sequences and highlights patterns in multiples.
Exponents Wheel – A creative model that shows the relationship between base numbers, exponents, and their calculated powers.
Cube Roots Challenge – A problem-solving activity where students solved cube root questions to progress through a game-like path.
To complement their models, students also created vibrant and informative PowerPoint presentations to explain their projects, demonstrating not only their mathematical understanding but also their communication and presentation skills.
These impressive projects made learning Math's exciting and meaningful—and proved that numbers can be both powerful and fun!
