Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I hope everyone is keeping warm as the cold and rain return this week.

I am grateful that our Fun Run Day was hosted last Friday in almost perfect weather! If you haven't had a chance to see the photos published in last week's newsletter, I encourage you to go and check them out. Our CPS students really enjoyed the colourful display, plus the chance to exercise together in a friendly setting.

A big thanks to our volunteers for this event who helped in different ways to make it a great success:

I would also like to congratulate the Lizard 2 class (Year 1), which won the class fundraising competition! Both Mr. Jones and I loved their fundraising effort and the energy they displayed to finish the fun run on the day. They have won a P&C-sponsored pizza party with their mighty result. The school team and P&C are in the planning stages of the well-deserved party for them in Term 3.

Lastly, in Term 3, the P&C will host the Father's Day breakfast and our community morning tea at school. We really need your support, whether as a casual volunteer or by joining us as a P&C committee member for ongoing contributions.
