Term 3 Week 2
STEAM Term 3
This term sees the junior school in the STEAM room and we are off to a very excited start. We have been exploring different building techniques as we worked on our teamwork, persistence, resilience and clean up skills. We have discussed the importance of keeping safe in STEAM by walking at all times, using equipment safely and for the intended purpose. Everyone is doing a great job and I have witnessed some amazing teamwork.

Music Update
Welcome back to the Senior School this semester!
We've kicked our time off with some choral singing about (kiwis, mangos and bananas) and had fun learning some new Positive Primer's to start sessions.
3/4 students are looking at creating soundscapes for different weather events like cyclones, hurricanes, wild fires, blizzards and tornados. They will continue to work on them before presenting them in a week's time.
5/6 students are adding sound effects to familiar fairy tales to add an extra theatrical element. Similar to 3/4 student's, the 5/6's will continue their work on them and perform them to their peers in the next couple of weeks.
