Feast of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop

Last Friday, the SRC students hosted a special liturgy to celebrate the Feast of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. The students led the school community in prayers, readings, and hymns that honoured Mary’s life of faith, service, and compassion. The liturgy was a meaningful way to remember Australia’s first saint and the inspiring example she set for us all.

Blessing of the New School Building

Fr Desmond visited St Mary’s to bless the new school entrance and the recently completed classrooms and offices. The blessing ceremony was shared with all classes through a Google Meet. We thank our Year 6 leaders for their readings and prayers.

Feast of the Assumption

Mary goes to heaven body and soul

On Friday, our school community came together to celebrate a whole school Mass for the Feast of the Assumption. The Mass was beautifully hosted by our Year 6 leadership team. In preparation for this special occasion, students had been busy learning a new hymn, We Sing with Mary by Andrew Chinn, which was sung with great enthusiasm and joy.
