Marist P&F Walkathon

Date: Sunday 10 August 2024 | 8:00am

Venue: Marist College Ashgrove

On Sunday 10 August 2025 all students from Years 5 to 12 will come together with the College community to complete a 10-kilometre walk through the range of the Enoggera Hill located within the Enoggera Barracks. Students collect sponsorship to walk on the day to raise money for the Marist College Ashgrove Parents and Friends Association. The P&F use the funds from Walkathon to support the College to enhance facilities and improve the educational journey for all Marist College Ashgrove students now and into the future.

The Walkathon has a long history at the College, dating back to the days where students and families embarked on a 30km round trip up through the Gap to Mt Cootha and back, and all family members are invited to join in the walking. If you or members of your family would like to join either the - much more manageable - full walk (10km) or the All-Abilities Walk (4km). Please register here before 9:00am Friday 8 August.

Major Prize Raffle Confirmed – State of Origin Tickets!!!

Help Us Reach Our Fundraising Goal!

As part of our Walkathon fundraising efforts, Marist College is running the Major Prize Raffle this year.

  1. If we raise over $45,000, all students who donate will go into the draw to win 2 tickets to the State of Origin.
  2. Even better – if we raise over $60,000, the College will contribute an additional 2 tickets, giving students two chances to win!

Every student donation, no matter the amount, counts as an entry into the raffle. Let’s come together as a community to support this initiative and aim high!

Thank you for your continued support.

Bring Your Own Water Bottle – Walkathon Reminder

As we prepare for this year’s Walkathon, we kindly remind all students and walkers to bring their own water bottle on the day. There will be no water stations available along the course, so it’s essential that each student and walkers are equipped to stay hydrated throughout the event.
