Annual Report to the School Community – Celebrating 2024

On Thursday 31st July at the Springvale Campus and again on Thursday 1st August at the Heights Campus, we proudly presented our 2024 Annual Report to the School Community. This event was a celebration of our school’s achievements in 2024 and a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the incredible learning, wellbeing, and community successes we achieved together.

During the presentations, we shared highlights from both the learning and wellbeing areas, including some key student achievement data. Families enjoyed seeing many wonderful photos from school events throughout the year – a reminder of just how much our students experience and accomplish both inside and outside the classroom. Parents gave fantastic feedback, saying they enjoyed hearing about the school’s progress and seeing the many ways our students are supported to thrive.

We also celebrated the many wonderful opportunities offered by our Community Hub throughout 2024. These included social connection programs, learning opportunities, and shared cultural celebrations that brought our school community closer together.

We also shared our attendance data, which showed that student attendance improved from 2023. While this is a step in the right direction, we also discussed the challenge that remains – the average student in 2024 missed 21.6 days of school. That’s an entire month of learning. Every day at school matters, and when students are absent, they miss valuable learning opportunities and social connections.

Remember: It’s not OK to be away!

A huge thank you to all the parents who attended – we hope you found it informative. If you couldn’t make it this year, don’t worry – we’ll be back again next year to celebrate our 2025 achievements together!
