Congratulations to the interschool girls bat tennis team - they are the 2024 Lalor District champions! The girls were clearly the top side all year, going undefeated in all of their matches. We won't count the game we had to forfeit because it was camp week. The team often played with less players than their opponents, which meant having to give up a 6 game head start. However this did not stop the talented troop, led by Kathy and Jennifer, our fearless singles champs. Followed by our doubles players, Zara, Alice, Tala, Emily, Estelle, Cybelle, Zejneb and Audrina, who were unstoppable, but always humble in victory. 

This is the first premiership Lalor East has won in interschool sports since 2016. It is especially outstanding as this is the last year the district will play bat tennis, so Lalor East will forever remain the champions.
