What's happening in Wellbeing . . .
Peaceful Kids
The selected year 3/4 students have completed the 8 week Peaceful Kids program. We hope that students continue to use the strategies that they have learnt both at home and at school over the school holiday period. You may like to ask your child what they like to do while they are in their 'flow', how to do mindful belly breathing and what they use as a coping strategy. This week the students brought home a warm and fuzzy book - feel free to add to this book to let your child know what is special about them.
Unique ways to fill your child's cup
Filling your child's cup means doing simple, thoughtful things that make them feel loved, valued and understood. These small acts build their self-esteem, trust, and resilience, helping them grow into a confident, connected person.
Make a special 'date' with just them
Having one on one time tells your child that they are worth your undivided attention. This dedicated time is an amazing confidence booster and deepens your connection.
IDEA: Go to your local icecream shop and let them choose a different flavour. Rank their favourites and come up with some fun names for their most liked flavour.

The rewards menu 'cost' of points will be changing in the new year. Also, students will be asked for more ideas to add to our reward menu. Watch this space in 2025!
