Don't be Late AND Wear Your Hat
Late arrivals
Every time I’m on yard duty in the mornings, I notice the late arrival of many of our students. We start Tutor Group at 8:20 every morning so that means staff need to complete their duty by 8:15 to get to their Tutor Group on time. It’s very hard to leave a crossing duty when there are cars lined up on both sides and students are just being dropped off. Arriving late in the morning makes everyone late. Please make a concerted effort to drop your student off by 8:10 in the morning.
Hats
Our UV rating continues to be in the Very High or in the Extreme range, meaning students and staff should always be wearing hats when exposed to sunlight. Even walking from the vehicle onto campus requires a hat to be worn. I’m asking staff to check hats every morning and parents can assist us by ensuring that your children have a hat before they leave the house.
