Term 4 Week 10
It has been a very busy final Term of the year!
Students have been busy following the Engineering Design Process to finalise their creations. Trebuchets have been slinging projectiles at targets, tree house renovations designed, constructed and secured in a tree, dream catchers designed and woven, we could have been learning to tie knots all year! Boxes recyled to make houses, handbags and rockets, Humpty Dumpty was designed a safety seat to protect him when he fell from the wall and a safe landing device for his rocket. Fabric scraps were saved from landfill and repurposed into fabric bowls that could hold their shape and not collapse when objects were inside. Microbits were coded to create games like rock-paper-scissors and thermometres
Anyway check out some photos for a while and have a wonderful, happy holiday break!
WOW! What a huge year we have had in the Music Room! It has been a year filled with laughter, bravery, imagination and persistence!
I'm SO proud of the Skye PS students and their openness to try new things and step out of their comfort zone. It can be quite intimidating performing in front of peers and learning new skills!
Thank you for your commitment to Dreamweaver last term and for supporting our students at our recent Community Picnic.
Although there is no school concert next year, I have some exciting things in the works! Maybe a continuation of Recorder Club.... who knows!
Enjoy the Summer Holidays with your families, rest up and stay safe ready for a BIG 2025! Merry Christmas!
