Key Dates

Important information:

Due to classroom moves happening across the school in preparation for 2025, Grade 2A will be moving into the current 2B classroom and Grade 2B will be moving into the current 5A classroom (next door to 2D). You can collect your child from there starting Monday. 

Dear Grade 2 Families,

As we come to the end of this wonderful year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. It has been an absolute joy to watch your children grow over the course of the year. They have learned so much, gained confidence, and have blossomed into incredible young learners. This year has been filled with laughter, fun, and countless memorable moments. We are truly grateful for the support you have shown, and for the trust you placed in us to guide them through this exciting chapter. Thank you for being such an essential part of our Grade 2 family.

Here are some fun writing prompts to spark creativity during the school holidays:

• The Great Holiday Adventure - write a story about your holidays being interrupted by an unexpected adventure. Do you discover a hidden treasure, meet a magical creature or travel to another world? 
• Keep a Summer Journal - what fun and exciting things will you get up to this break. 
• Holiday at the Zoo - write a story about a zoo, where all the animals talk and celebrate the holidays. 
• My Dream Holiday - if you could design your dream holiday: What would it look like? What would you do? Where would you go? 
• The Holiday Superhero - you discover you have special holiday powers, write about how you use your new powers to save the Holiday season from disaster. Do you have the ability to make decorations come to life or command Santa's elves?
