Nine Lessons and Carols

SUNDAY 1 DECEMBER, 4PM AT HOLY TRINITY CHURCH

This term our choirs and orchestra students are presenting a traditional Christmas Carol service, with free admission to the public.  We are hoping that this event will provide us the opportunity to spread a bit of Christmas cheer and also to foster links with the broader Orange community.  Further information has been emailed to our performers. Please come along and enjoy the Christmas Spirit!

Stage Band at Wontama

Our Stage Band will be performing at Wontama Aged Care on Tuesday 26 November.  We’re looking forward to playing some Big Band music from the 1940’s, along with some Christmas Carols for residents. Parents of students in the band are welcome to attend, and further information has been emailed to families.

iBand & iStrings Pre-K Performance

Students in our intermediate Band and Strings groups will be performing for the school’s youngest students on Thursday 21 November.  They will also spend some time demonstrating different instruments and playing some musical games. Further information is being provided to relevant families.

Orange Grove Nursing Home

Charlotte Hoskins, Ella Kerdic and Phoebe Wong, Year 8

On Friday 8 October the brass ensemble and intermediate woodwind ensemble travelled to the Orange Grove Nursing Home, to perform a variety of musical items. Anna Childs and Ella Kerdic presented their solo pieces which were accompanied by Luke Moxey.

The staff and residents were very welcoming and thoroughly enjoyed our performances. Thank you to Mr Moxey, Mr Ismail, Ms Chatterley and Mrs Shields for organising this opportunity.
