Principal's Report
Dear Families,
Everyone is so excited about tonight. Below are a few details about the night:
- Students are required to be at the venue by 6.15pm.
- Gates will open at 5.45pm.
- Supervision will commence at 6.15pm. Prior to this students are the responsibility of parents.
- Students are to come dressed in their costumes.
- Students are to sit in their designated area, not with parents.
- Students will need to bring a drink bottle with them.
- Please ensure your child has had a meal prior to the concert as they won't have a chance to eat until the concert is finished.
- The concert will commence at 6.30pm.
- There will be some chairs avaliable for the audience however you may like to bring a fold up chair or picnic blanket to sit on.
- Snacks and drinks will be available from the outside bar prior to the concert and during Interval.
- No outside drinks , except students water bottles, are to be brought to the venue.
- Tickets for the night can be purchased via Qkr!
- Parents and Friend’s will be running a Nifty Fifty. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the purchase of construction toys.
- The Toolamba Community Cookbook will also be available to purchase for $10.
BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Friday is the final day to order back to school supplies through COS. Ordering by this date ensures supplies are in the school by the end of the year. This enables classroom teachers to spend the last day of school setting up the classroom with your child's supplies ready for the 2025 school year.
TOOLAMBA RECREATION GROUP
Toolamba Recreation Group have purchased a commercial coffee machine, a new display fridge and upgraded the kitchen's hand washing facilities in line with council food service requirements.
They are offering free use of the hall kitchen including coffee machine, power and water for 6 months, to support the launch of a service. Please contact them if any group is interested.
SCHOOL COUNCIL & PARENTS & FRIENDS COMMITTEE
Our final meeting for the year will be held at Hilltop Golf Club next Thursday night at 5.30 for a 6pm start. We looking forward to celebrating another successful year.
STAFFING 2025
We are very pleased to announce that Samantha Aitken has been appointed to our staff to replace Amee Thorn who is relocating to Bendigo. Sam will be joining us on Orientation Day.
CONGRATULATIONS
On Saturday 23rd November, Mia, Arya & Lenox took part in the Little Athletics Northern Country Region Relay Carnival in Shepparton.
Mia and Arya competed in the U13’s 4x100m girls relay, 4x100m mixed relay, and Medley Relay with Mia and Arya placing 3rd in the 4x100m, and Mia placing 2nd in her heat of the 4x100 mixed relay.
Mia and her mixed team have now advanced to the next stage and have the opportunity to compete on Saturday 14th December at the State Relay Championships, Meadowglen International Athletics Stadium, Epping.
Lenox competed in the U11’s boys 4x100m relay, 4x100m mixed relay and Medley Relay.
It was a fantastic experience and opportunity for Mia, Arya and Lenox and despite the heat, they had a great day.
