Principal's Report

We officially said farewell to the Year 12 students on Wednesday evening, with their Graduation being held at Settlers Tavern. It was great to see so many family members present, with most of our graduates being able to attend. Those that weren’t had their own personal send off during the week at school. We managed to catch a photo of Jonah, however, missed capturing the moment with Katie when she popped in to say goodbye and receive her certificate.
A big thanks goes to Ange and Warren Bell (and their staff) at Settlers Tavern for hosting us, and to everyone who attended, helping make the evening special for the students. I'd also like to thank Colleen Adams, the Year 12 Engagement Leader in Semester 2, for all her efforts in bringing it together. Thanks also to those who gave Colleen a helping hand to finalise everything.
The evening was a lovely way to say a final good bye to our Year 12s, and to some of our families who have been with us for many years.
Our Year 11s have spent this week preparing for the end of their school year, with Elevate providing tips and advice around study and learning on Monday, then sitting their Year 11 exams on Tuesday to Thursday. Year 11s have now started their Advantage program, spending 4 days taking a look into what next year will be like and starting their subjects before heading off for the annual 3 day Melbourne Camp. Students have the opportunity to visit universities and TAFE, see accommodation possibilities and spend time just hanging about in the city, having a great time! The end of the camp coincides with the last day of their school year.
A reminder that advertisements regarding the Cleaning Contract will have been advertised in recent newspapers and that applications close on Wednesday 27th November at 4pm. Please contact me if you have any questions.
