A Typical School Day

Each school day brings a sense of wonder and excitement. The learning can change throughout the day and term but generally we run to a timetable.

8:45 am          Arrive at School

9:00 am          Learning Block 1 Begins

11:00 am        Recess Play Time

11:30 am        Learning Block 2 Begins

1:30 pm          Eating Time

1:40 pm          Lunch Play Time

2:30 pm         Learning Block 3 Begins

3:15 pm          School Dismissal

Specialists

Sunshine Heights has an exciting Specialist Program that supports students’ creative, physical and language development. Each class is an hour in duration, students have one session of each specialist every week.

Each Specialist session is held in the 'Specialist Hub'. We have wonderful dedicated spaces filled with equipment just waiting for your child to explore and learn. The prep classroom teacher does not stay with their grade during a specialist session, but will help their students get to and from each class.
