Prep Picnic

On Thursday 13th February, we hold our Prep Picnic from 5pm to 6:30pm. On this afternoon, you will be able to enjoy a picnic, meet other parents, and spend some time getting to know our community.

Supporting our Preps with transition

To assist with the transition of your child into primary school life our prep students will have a staggered entry into school. The Prep students’ commencement date is: Friday the 31st of January 2025.

For the first four full weeks of school, Prep children will attend school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday but will spend Wednesdays at home. The dates that the Prep students do not come to school in the first month are: February 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th 2024. Preps begin full weeks of learning on the 26th of February 2024.

Prep Interviews

On these Wednesdays, in order to support the growth and learning of your child, teachers will be conducting individual Literacy and Numeracy assessments, each Wednesday in February. You will receive an appointment time during the first week of school. Please ensure your child comes to the session so we can target teaching to your child's individual needs.

After the interview with your child, the teacher will then have a short meeting with you to answer any of your questions and to share any further information.
