Each year government schools are provided with student-free days for professional development, school planning and administration, curriculum development and student assessment and reporting purposes. At Sunshine Heights the first two days of Term 1 are student-free days to allow for appropriate planning to take place for the arrival of students. There will be two further days allocated later in the school year. Students do not attend school on these days. 

The Out of Hours School Care program will be operating if your child should need care. Please contact ‘Team Kids’ for more information on 1300 273 162.

The first day for your Preps to attend school is Friday 31st of January. (all other students begin Thursday 30th January)
