SchoolTV

Assembly message

This week, Mr Jones checked in with our Year 3 and Year 4 students to see how they’ve been going with their sleep and night-time routines after the last assembly in week 3. It was great to hear that many students are making small changes, like turning off screens earlier and reading before bed instead.

As a follow-up to the SchoolTV clip What Effect Do Screens Have on Kids’ Sleep?, we continue to encourage families to watch it together and have a conversation about how to support healthy sleep habits at home. The link below includes helpful tips on managing screen time and creating a calm bedtime routine. Swapping screens for stories is a simple but powerful step, and we’d love to see more students winding down with a good book each night.

Thank you for supporting these important conversations at home. Small routines can make a big difference to student wellbeing and learning.
