School Review

I am happy to share a very positive result for our recently completed school review. Thank you to our challenge partners for their involvement, to our teachers for their dedication, and to our wonderful students and parents for their honest feedback. The combined efforts of everyone will play an important role in helping us continue to improve and grow as a school community.

I will be able to share a new four-year Strategic Plan with everyone, once it has been endorsed early next term.

Workforce Planning

We have experienced another strong year of enrolment enquiries and currently have two full Foundation classes confirmed for 2026. Over the coming week, we will begin the process of recruiting an additional teacher for next year and hope to share an update on the successful candidate soon.

Father’s Day Stall, Raffle and Father’s Day Breakfast

Thank you to our amazing team of volunteers who organised the Father’s Day stall last week, we raised nearly $1,000. An extra special mention to Emma Shaw for coordinating the stall again for us, this year.

It was wonderful to see over 80 Dads, Grandads, and special friends join us for the Father’s Day Breakfast. It truly was a fantastic morning.

We also raised nearly $1,000 through our Father's Day raffle. Thank you to Lori Frowd and the admin team for coordinating this special 'one-off' event for our families.

Final Assembly (last day of term)

Our final assembly for Term 3 will be held on the last day of term, Friday 19th September, at 9:15am. This will be followed by our annual Footy Day Parade.

1T will be hosting the assembly and Principal Awards will also be presented. It would be great to see as many members of the school community attend the assembly, as possible.

Bounce Into Baxter

Next week, we will be hosting our 4th Bounce into Baxter session. We have a fantastic group of Foundation students joining us in 2026, and they’re settling into the school environment very smoothly. We’re excited to welcome them officially, next year.
