R U OK? Day

In Week 8 students and staff participated in many activities to celebrate RUOK. We raised the importance of mental health and starting conversations to check in on how people are going. There was a range of activities offered in class and break times throughout the week.
This included chalk drawing, the TRADIE race, volleyball, conversation cards, bingo, a drama workshop, a dance workshop and a handball competition. There was also a silent disco run by Ross from Blue Sky.
All the students that participated went into a raffle and won wonderful prizes donated by local businesses. Thank you to everyone who got involved and for checking in on their friends. It’s important for all of us to ask others if they’re ok and how we can help them.
Thank you to the following businesses who donated many prizes for our raffle.
