Sustainability 

Over the term, our students have been actively engaged in hands-on learning experiences at the Mullinmur Billabongs.

As part of our Environmental Science and Sustainability focus, students have been

conducting water testing to measure quality, exploring the health of water systems through water bug sampling and observing the presence of fish species in the area.

These investigations have provided valuable insights into our local ecosystems. Students are learning how the presence—or absence—of certain macroinvertebrates and fish species can act as important indicators of environmental health.

Through this work, students are developing a deeper appreciation for water quality, biodiversity, and the natural systems that exist right in our own backyard.
