Maths Challenge

Congratulations to 3/4 Mitchell for winning our final Maths Challenge of Term 3!

We will be posting our next challenge in the first newsletter of Term 4.

What we have been up to...

We had an awesome day at the Melbourne Zoo on Monday. Highlights from the day included watching the giant tortoises move, meeting the baby giraffe, watching the pygmy hippo and seeing the red bottoms of the baboons. A big thank you to Mrs Rodda for her organisation of this event to ensure that the day ran smoothly.

In Writing, students have been learning about the purpose of an information report and have been examining how they are structured. Next week, the students will write an information report about a chosen animal.

In Mathematics, we completed a mapping activity for the students to familiarise themselves with the zoo. We have also continued our work on skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s.

For Topic, students have been busy working on different aspects of their puppet show with the goal of performing them in front of their class next week.
