Grade Five / Six
Class Information
Welcome to our final and most exciting term of the year.
Our Grade 6 students will attend Mass this Friday followed by a seated morning tea. Families are warmly invited. See attached invitation.

Due to a lease renewal, we are now required to keep our senior unit devices at school. An additional charging station will be organised to ensure all devices can be charged at school. Thank you for your patience during this change.
As a result, our expectations surrounding homework will also be modified. During Term 4, our focus will be purely on reading. Students may read books from home or school. Reach out if your child needs support finding reading materials of interest.
Our October assembly will take place this Friday 17th October at 2:45pm. Our Grade 6 leaders for this assembly will be Oli S, Ethan, Henry, Mylie and Ollie H.
This term we will be studying Economics. After a series of theory lessons, students will design and create a market stall to showcase their learning. The date for this event will be confirmed in the coming days.
We are looking forward to our upcoming Melbourne Camp. This will take place on Wednesday 19th – Friday 21st November. We will travel to and from Melbourne via train. More information to follow.
Our Grade 5 students will remain at school on these dates. They will take part in a range of activities at school as well as a short excursion. More information to follow.
This term, we will be studying puberty as part of our ‘Life Relationships’ unit. To coincide with this, we are running an event for our Grade 6 students and families. This will take place on the evening of Monday 10th November at 6pm.
