Experiences for students to learn about different study and career opportunities
Participating in immersion activities and tertiary discovery days can help Year 10, 11 and 12 students to formulate ideas about what they would like to study or do after high school. Attending one of these experiences with a friend or family member can make it less daunting for your young person to explore a new university environment.
The Monash Discovery Day offers workshops for students to experience different faculties and a workshop for parents. Swinburne University has three days of student workshops in the areas of STEM, Creative& Social Impact, Health Sport & Education. Students can attend one or all three Swinburne workshops. RMIT offer 14 different student workshops that are focussed on different course areas. The William Angliss Discovery Day will be focussed on food, tourism, hospitality and events and students can attend this event with parents. The Hotel School Industry Insights Day is for Year 12 students to learn more about the hospitality and tourism.
