Teaching and Learning 

 Term 4

Welcome back to Term Four, it has been a busy start with Secondary 9/10 camp, swimming in Year 7/8 and the Bushwahzee at Lower Primary. Concord has many wonderful events across the school that link to the classroom learning program. 

At the end of last term, the 9/10 section celebrated the end of the Earn and Learn mathematics program by throwing their Market Stall event. Students and staff exchanged money to purchase goods or experiences. One event was the Splat, Splash or Spray the teacher, with Bronwyn and Matt both fetching high prices for the students to have a turn.

Across the school for our Discovery Units there is a focus on Biology & Sustainability through the lens of plants and animals. This term students in 7/8 have been learning about Caring for our Earth and its Animals, in their first week back students were learning about what enables plants to grow by creating Grass Heads. I will let you read the writing of Rin from 7/8G to learn more.
