Dear students, parents, and friends,

 

I hope you are all looking forward to a relaxing and restorative school break!

If you find yourself in need of a soothing, screen-free activity, may I recommend zentangle?  It’s equally beneficial for older children (Years 4, 5, and 6) and adults alike : )

 

What is zentangle?

Zentangle is a relaxing way of doodling that encourages focus, creativity, and calm, while helping reduce stress and grumpiness.

 

What supplies do I need?

  • Plain paper (any size)
  • Pen, thin-tipped sharpie, or pencil

 

How do I get started?

Important Tip: There are no mistakes in zentangle.  Just have fun and don’t worry about it being perfect - there’s no such thing!
