Wellbeing Day – Term 3

Yesterday, our Term 3 Wellbeing Day aligned with our school value of Respect for Others. The day included RUOK? activities, where students explored the importance of checking in with each other and asking simple but powerful questions to support their friends and family.

Students also enjoyed buddy catch-ups, working together across year levels to build friendships and strengthen our school community. Through role-play, games, conversation activities, and class discussions, students practised different ways to ask if someone is okay and how to listen and respond with kindness and empathy.

The day was linked directly to our school value of Respect for Others and our Upstander / School-Wide Positive Behaviour program. The message was clear: being respectful, kind, and inclusive helps create a safe environment where bullying is not tolerated. Students were encouraged to be Upstanders by noticing when someone may need support, checking in with them, and responding with empathy. Together, we celebrated the importance of building a culture where everyone feels valued and respected.

Students also enjoyed a school disco to celebrate reaching our Pear Goal, which is connected to the Class Dojo system. This milestone recognised the incredible effort students have put into consistently showing our school values and working together to build a positive school culture.

A big thank you to all the staff involved in making the day as successful and fun as it was!

5NH and 3MP buddy classes got together on R U OK day to make and decorate their own caterpillars and then race them through the race courses they made from the planks. The caterpillars were powered by the students blowing through a straw.

R U Okay Day saw the Year 3s and 4s making some Origami lotus flowers. They worked together, used their knowledge of fractions and tested their resilience!

The sun was shining for Ride 2 School Day on Thursday.  It was wonderful to see so many students on bikes, scooters, skate boards and roller blades enjoying the fresh air.

We finished up the term with a Sports dress up day.  It was fantastic to see so many different sporting codes represented.  Even Ginger got in the spirit of things.  We hope she'll be happy after tonight's game!
