As we reach the end of Term 3, it is wonderful to reflect on how far our Year 7 students have come in their first year of secondary school. Over the past ten weeks, students have continued to grow in confidence, independence, and resilience as they navigate new challenges and experiences.

This term has been filled with a wide range of opportunities, both in and out of the classroom. From engaging learning tasks and hands-on activities to sports, camps, and cultural events, our Year 7s have shown enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards their learning. It has been fantastic to see friendships strengthen, teamwork skills develop, and students demonstrating our school values in their daily interactions.

Looking ahead, we have Parent Teacher Conversations scheduled for next week. This is a valuable opportunity for families to connect with teachers, discuss progress, and work together to set goals for the final term of the year. We encourage all families to take part in these conversations, as they play an essential role in supporting student learning and wellbeing.

As we prepare for Term 4, we encourage students to maintain their strong work ethic, continue building on the progress they have made, and set themselves personal goals for the final stretch of the school year. We are proud of what our Year 7s have achieved so far and look forward to supporting them as they finish their first year of high school on a high note.

We wish all students and families a safe and restful holiday break.

Learning Behaviour Updates

Last week, families received the Term 3 Learning Behaviour Updates. These reports provide valuable insight into how students are engaging with their learning, demonstrating effort, and contributing to the classroom environment. We encourage families to take the time to review these updates with their child, celebrating areas of strength and identifying goals for continued growth. The upcoming Parent Teacher Conversations will also provide an excellent opportunity to discuss these reports in more detail and to work in partnership to support each student’s progress.
