Step back in time and discover the rich history of Frankston High School at our Sue Robinson Frankston High School Museum. Named in honour of much-loved retired History teacher Sue Robinson, the museum is a true labour of love. Sue has carefully curated the collection over many years, preserving and showcasing the school’s rich heritage with passion and care.
With a wealth of knowledge and a gift for storytelling, Sue will be opening the museum to past students and interested members of the community on Wednesday 29 April from 2.00–5.00pm as part of the National Trust Heritage Festival.
Since opening in 1924, the school has grown from a small local institution into a thriving learning community, proud of its tradition of academic excellence, creativity, sporting prowess and community spirit. The museum captures this journey through photographs, memorabilia and stories that bring the past to life.
As part of our recent Centenary celebrations, Sue also authored the commemorative book 100 YEARS | 100 VOICES. Featuring stories from alumni across generations, the book captures the spirit and experiences of our school community. Copies can be ordered through the General Office or via the school website.
