Australian Harmony Day

March 21 is Australia’s Harmony Day which celebrates the country’s cultural diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It coincides with the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. 

Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Day (and Week) and encourages the freedom of ideas and mutual respect for one another. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Everyone belongs.
